At Mardruk, we produce the plates in-house — in our own prepress department using dedicated exposure and processing lines. Technology: a dot that holds its shape
We use photopolymer plates with flat-top dot geometry and full control of the screening dot from highlights to deep tonal areas. The result:
sharp edges and stable highlights (readable fine text and small details),
smooth solids without orange-peel effect,
clean tonal transitions in images and illustrations,
less ink build-up and easier wash-ups during the job.
Prepress designed for production — from file to plate
Our prepress team prepares files so the photopolymer plates reproduce the design intent without press-side surprises:
separations and colour sequence aligned with seal areas, windows and technical zones,
trapping and white boost where metallisation or dark backgrounds require it,
dot gain compensation for the target speed and substrate (BOPP, CPP, PE, PET, paper),
mock-ups and proofs (including matt/gloss contrast) so desk approval = result on the roll.
